The holidays bring so much excitement and inspiration when I’m painting with acrylics. I enjoyed painting a few seasonal still lifes that are just as festive as the holidays. While experimenting with various acrylic techniques, I most appreciated creating floral still lifes. It was rewarding to watch vibrant flowers appear as I painted with bold colors and used plaster to create a 3D effect in each painting. In my sketching for communication class, the task was to create a storyboard. I created a six-frame storyboard with a surprise birthday party theme. I portrayed the sense of suspense and ultimate surprise at the end of the story. Tools: Paper, Pencil, Micro and Sharpie Pens, Prisma Markers
In a printmaking class, the goal was to create a handmade book using bookbinding and printmaking techniques learned in class. The concept I developed included a play on words using shoes.
